NY S/S 09: Donna Karan

Much like the case of Herve Leger, Rodarte and Roland Mouret, that owns a signature style or designs of their own which they stick to, Donna Karan had yet again showed off how her drop-waist loosely draped dresses are as equally feminine and sexy.

To be honest, I'm really more than tired to the silhouette of tight dresses that's right in-your-face kinda sexy. However, ironically, it's obvious those aren't the only definition of sexy for the recent years. That's how the boyfriend's shirt, boyfriend's jeans, boyfriend's this and boyfriend's that came about in the very first place isn't it? Laid-back, mysterious and sophistication are also bringing sexy back.






Difference from the last season's the use of more cool and dull colours of nude, gray and milky blue.

Oversized blazers and jewels are also added for this season for extra texture and details, though I do prefer them simple like last season's.
